4th Annual Kentucky High School Basketball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & ReceptionSaturday, July 11, 2015 at 7:30 PMLocation: The Historic State Theater


Elizabethtown is the proud home of the Kentucky High School Basketball Hall of Fame and 2015 marks the 4th annual induction ceremony which will take place on Saturday, July 11th.    
The evening begins with a reception which takes place inside the State Theater's banquet hall beginning at 5:30pm.  Then the pre-show video begins at 7pm inside the State Theater, and the formal ceremony begins at 7:30pm.
Tickets are $30 each and include both the reception and the ceremony.   Tickets may be purchased at the State Theater box office at 270-234-8258 or the night of the show beginning at 5pm.

Ocean City LIVE in ConcertSaturday, July 18, 2015 at 7:30 PMLocation: The Historic State Theater


Elizabethtown's own indie pop band 'Ocean City' plays the stage of the Historic State Theater on Saturday, July 18th at 7:30pm.
Ocean City is currently working on their first full length album and has recently played shows at The New Vintage in Louisville and Diamond Pub Concert Hall.  In 2014, they were national finalists in the Breakout Artist Music Competition and also advanced to the final round of the Gorilla Music Louisville Battle of the Bands.
Members include:
Zach Alexander - keyboards and vocals
Nick Alexander - lead guitar
Connor Brown - drums
Brady Haynes - bass
Tommy Hill - rhythm guitar

Opening the show will be Singer-Songwriter Roy Williams. 
Roy is also an Elizabethtown native. His sound blends thoughtful melodies for a unique and smooth experience.

Cruisin' the Heartland Classic Car ShowSaturday, July 25, 2015 at 11:00 AMLocation: Downtown, Elizabethtown


The Sixth Annual Cruisin' the Heartland returns to downtown Elizabethtown on Saturday, July 25th.  The streets are shut down to display the over 1800 classic cars that will take the streets.
Friday night events are also a part of the scene.
